🌟 What a day to be part of the PACK! 🌟 Our students had an unforgettable day filled with laughter, fun, and learning! 🐺✨ We kicked things off with a picnic lunch outside, followed by an exciting walk to Roosevelt High School. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ (Kindergarten and 1st grade even got to take the bus!) 🚌 Over 600+ students and staff attended the incredible production of Alice in Wonderland – it was AMAZING! 🎭✨ A huge thank you to the Roosevelt Theatre for hosting us and making this experience unforgettable. 🎉 👉 Reminder: The show is open to the public on April 10th, 11th, and 12th! 🎟️ Tickets are just $6! The Community Learning Centers, with the SFSD, is offering a summer program for students that will have completed K-5th grade during the 24/25 school year. 🎉 Congratulations to our amazing teachers at Oscar Howe Elementary! 🎉 We are excited to announce that the following educators have received Public School Proud Grants from the Sioux Falls Public Schools Education Foundation to enhance learning in their classrooms: ✨ Melissa Guebert, Amanda Hotchkin, Rebecca Josephson, and Josee Biberdorf for their grant project "Making Math Memorable" – they will be purchasing math and critical thinking games for their 3rd grade students! ✨ Sara Wiebelhaus for her grant "Building Bright Minds" – she will be bringing STEM and logic games, plus construction sets, to her kindergarten classroom! ✨ Lindsey Hinsch for her grant "Morning Manipulatives" – she will be adding 16 STEM bins to her 2nd grade classroom for hands-on learning! ✨ Amy Staples for her grant "PE on the Move" – she will be purchasing cup stacking and dice games for fun, active learning in her PE classes! We are so proud of these dedicated teachers and the creative ways they are making a difference in our students' lives. 👏📚🎲 Keep up the amazing work!

🎶 What a fantastic experience for our 3rd graders at Oscar Howe Elementary today! 🎶 Our students had the wonderful opportunity to attend The South Dakota Symphony Orchestra's Young People's Concert at the stunning Mary W. Sommervold Hall in Sioux Falls! 🎻✨ Led by assistant conductor Nicholas Sharma, the concert provided an engaging and educational experience. Students were guided through the music with narration and an introduction to the different instruments of the orchestra. It was a perfect opportunity for our 3rd graders to connect with the beauty of live orchestral music! 🎼🎶 Thank you, South Dakota Symphony Orchestra, for such a memorable experience! 🎉
